How to Get Feedback on Your Writing in Real time

Writing_Skills

Writing can be done by anybody, but Good writing needs extra skills. Skills that can be built by either experience or some formal training. If you belong to the first category, and want to improve your writing skills, I am listing three sources which you can use to get feedback on your writing in real time. You can use these sources to make corrections and improve your writing skills.

Google Docs

Google Docs is a nice tool for collaborative writing. You can invite people who can view and edit the same document you are working on. This tool can be used to getting feedback from real people. Share the Document with someone you think can help you mark out your mistakes and make corrections in your article. You can see the changes being made to your articles by another person.

Medium

Medium is a minimalist writing service which aims to give space to writers for writing clean and meaningful articles. One of the key features of Medium is collaboration. When you write an article on Medium and publish it, people who read your piece will be able to do corrections to it. This gives you an idea how and where you need to improve your writing.

Quora Blogs

The third tool is Quora Blogs. Just create a blog on Quora and start writing. When you publish your article, the awesome community members will visit your blog randomly suggesting improvements in the article. Quora then shows you what recommendations have been made by showing you your version and the recommended version. You can accept the version. This proves to be great tool for getting guidance for free, that too in real time.

I think it’s better to write on these services rather than writing articles on your PC and saving them in your Hard Drive, there is no way you will get real feedback.

The above tools I have mentioned are a great way to improve on writing skills and will also help you keep on writing as you will have an audience as well. I have used all the three services for the same purpose and found it to be very useful. Please let me know what do you think and if there is way you would want to suggest for other readers that can help them improve their writing.
